Ernestina "Kris" De Los Santos, 76 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Noe De Los Santos officiating.  Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Kris was born Saturday, November 23, 1946 in Rosebud, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Guadalupe Valverde, Sr., and the late Francisca Ramirez Valverde. She married Guadalupe De Los Santos, Sr., January 15, 1967 in Crowell, Texas. Guadalupe passed away July 17, 2020. Kris retired from the State Hospital as a PNA I. She also worked at DeLong's Cap Factory in Quanah, Texas for ten years. Kris loved to cook, and everyone knew her because of her smile, dimples, and good food. She had a big heart, and was always welcoming to everyone.

Kris is survived by two sons, Guadalupe De Los Santos, Jr., and J.J. De Los Santos & wife Lelah both of Vernon, Texas; one daughter, Jacque Duncan & husband Danny of Quanah, Texas; step-daughter, Gloria Morelos of Knox City, Texas, and one sister, Margie Lopez of Vernon, Texas. Kris also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Kris is preceded in death her husband, parents, brother, Guadalupe Valverde, Jr., and her sister, Carlotta Ranjel.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
