Faith "Lavoy" Bivins, 82 of Vernon, Texas died on Monday, April 11, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Friday, April 15, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Neuberger officiating. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Lavoy was born Tuesday, November 28, 1939 in Vernon, Texas, she was the daughter of the late August Rummel and the late Ester Schoppa Rummel. She worked as a grocery store clerk before she went to work at North Texas State Hospital in the Rehab Dept., she retired from there after twenty-five plus years. Her family and grandchildren were her passion she was very proud of her family history. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Lavoy is survived by her daughters, Daphne Perkins of Vernon, TX and Tamara Dann and fiancé  Tim Gibson of Corsicana, TX. Four grandchildren Kali Dann (Zack Nava), Harli Adams (Joe Daniel), Jeremy Dann and Bryson Perkins. Four great grandchildren Alyssa, Halen, Saydi, and Riyate. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her sisters Doris Hobratschk, and Violet Schaefer.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
