Florence Marie Todd, 94 of Vernon, Texas died passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 11:00 am at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating.

Marie was born Tuesday, January 13, 1931, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Charles Rector and the late Alma Powell Rector. She married James L. Todd on October 12, 1952, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She was the founder of Bevo's Drive-In which opened in 1971. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Malinda Steele & husband Terry of Vernon, Texas and her son, Michael Todd of Vernon, Texas. Marie also leaves behind two grandchildren, Kirstie Steele and Kevin Steele both of Vernon, Texas and her sister, Bobbie Lawson Kays of Tipton, Oklahoma.

Marie is preceded in death by her husband, James Todd and nine brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 10:00 am until graveside services begin.

Memorials can be given to Beyond Faith Hospice.
