Francis “Kika” Martinez, 37 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Trevor Kelley officiating. 

Francis was born Thursday, February 9, 1989, in Childress, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Fidel Martinez and the late Concha Ramirez. She was very funny, had a kind soul, and never met a stranger. Family was very important to her, and Francis was a great aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She was a devout Christian and enjoyed putting on puppet shows and skits at her church. She was a member of Greater Life Apostolic Church in Lake Charles, LA. 

Francis is survived by her sisters, Marivel Ramirez of Lake Charles, LA, Mary Martinez of Vernon, TX and Fidela Nail & husband Aaron of Vernon, TX, and her nieces and nephews, Maricela, Mariah, Karisma, Estevan, Ariana, Amari, A’moni, Ayden, Alexa, Wyatt, Bentley and Liam. Francis also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews. Francis is preceded in death by her parents, Fidel Martinez & Concha Ramirez, and her sister, Patricia Martinez.

Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2026, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until services begin.
