Frankie Linda McCraw, 91 of McKinney, Texas passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, in McKinney, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:30 am at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Linda was born Thursday, January 11, 1934, in Marlow, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Lee Ball and the late Mellisa Dunn Ball. She was one of ten children. She married Ernest "Mac" McCraw on December 15, 1951. Her love for the Lord was like no other. She was such a prayer warrior and would pray for anyone including perfect strangers. She loved to travel and was a social butterfly. Linda loved her husband with all her heart, and she was a dedicated wife. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Linda Frances of Garland, Texas and Sandy Lemons & husband Doug of McKinney, Texas, her daughter-in-law, Marilynn McCraw, and sister, Freeda Holdbrook. Linda also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Joshua Taylor, Melissa Gardner, Chad Lemons, Jenny Waddle, Kimberly Cantu, Jason McCraw, and Stacy McCraw, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Linda is preceded in death by the love of her life, Mac McCraw a Korean POW Veteran, her parents, Lee & Mellisa Ball, her son, Ernie McCraw, Jr., her granddaughter, Sarah Frances, and her great grandson, Tyler McCullough.
Linda's family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of Hidden Springs Nursing Home and Lovewell Hospice.
