Fredrick "Rick" Marion Byrd, Jr., 73 of Chillicothe, Texas passed on Sunday, August 4, 2024 in Chillicothe, Texas.

Rick was born Thursday, October 19, 1950 in Chillicothe, Texas. He was the son of the late Fredrick M Byrd, Sr. and the late Romayne Dodson Byrd. Rick was a graduate of Chillicothe Highschool and East Texas State University. He married Teresa Duncan on March 12, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV. Rick worked for Quaker State and United Oil & Grease for many years. Rick rode with the Santa Rosa Palomino Club several times. Rick and his family were members of First Methodist Church of Chillicothe.

Rick is survived by his wife of the home Teresa Byrd, two sons Scott Taylor of Dallas, TX. and Brett Taylor of Raleigh, NC.. His granddaughters Lacey Taylor Gonzalez and husband Levi of Frisco, TX. and Lindsay Taylor of Raleigh, NC. He also leaves behind his cousin Darryl Jones and wife Lou of Archer City, TX. and numerous other cousins and family members.
