Gail Agnew, 86 of Vernon, Texas passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Gail was born July 24, 1938, in Camp Crook, South Dakota. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Myrtle Russell. She married M.L. (Peewee) Rozzell on June 23, 1953, in Rapid City, South Dakota. She was a devoted member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church for fifty-five years. Gail loved to serve the Lord, being a caregiver to many, especially her great grandbabies. In December of 1996 she married Dr. Thomas Agnew.

Gail is survived by her two sons, Melvin Lee Rozzell & wife Nilda of Vernon, Texas and Danny Ray Rozzell of Vernon, Texas, four grandchildren, Allison Waggoner & husband Garrett of Vernon, Texas, Moises Frias & wife Olivia of Denton, Texas, Ashley Rozzell of Vernon, Texas, and Aaron Rozzell of Vernon, Texas, five great grandchildren, Alexa, Zachary, Brynnlee, Zoey and Kylie, and her five sisters.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, M.L., sister, Marlene Bickerdyck and daughter-in-law, Rhonda Rozzell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
