Gary Wayne Haynes, 68 of Chillicothe, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held, Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harry Thrasher officiating. Burial will follow at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Gary Wayne was born Tuesday, August 28, 1956, in Chillicothe, Texas. He was the son of the late Gordon Haynes and the late Laura Jane Thomas Haynes. He worked for Haynes Harvesting and spent his entire life dedicated to harvesting. He loved to go fishing, and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Gary Wayne is survived by two daughters, Katie Haynes & Blake Bivins of Vernon, Texas and Lauren Haynes & Noel Danner of Weatherford, Texas, and his stepson, Ric Clarkson of Aledo, Texas. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Kaden Hall, Leeana Hall, Kashdon Bivins, Trace Clarkson, and Crue Clarkson.

Gary Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon & Laura Haynes, and his brother, David Haynes.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.

Memorials can be given to the Chillicothe Volunteer Fire Department.
