G.G. Garrett, Jr., 79 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday December 28,2022 at 10:00am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ric Rosalez officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

G.G. was born Thursday, October 14, 1943 in Vernon, Texas., to the late Granville G. Garrett, Sr. and the late Frances Knight Garrett. G.G. was in the Army, serving in Japan. He later became a Postman with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after thirty years. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church.

G.G. is survived by one son, Gian Garrett of Vernon, TX, three brothers, Eldon Garrett, Ollie Garrett and Kirby Garrett all of Vernon, TX, four sisters, Clem Gonzales of Fort Worth, TX, Kathy Sims of New Mexico, Katy Marlow of Crowell, TX and Bernice Lozano of Vernon, TX. two grandchildren Gage and Gemma, one special niece Madison Garrett, and numerous other nieces and nephews that he was very proud of.
