Ginger Walker, 80 of Vernon, Texas died on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Ginger was born Sunday, November 30, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Frank Melson and the late Betty Pitchford Melson. She married Napoleon Walker on December 2, 1986 in Wichita Falls, TX. Ginger received an associates degree from Western Oklahoma State College, and went to beauty school in Altus, OK.  She was a jewelry maker, and enjoyed painting and sewing.  Ginger had a giving heart, was an excellent cook and baker, and was also a fashionista.

Ginger is survived by her husband Napoleon Walker of the home.  Her brother, Monty Obee & wife Kathi of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Bryana René Matheson & husband Seth of Weatherford, TX, and Roger Nava III and wife Rose of Weatherford, TX.  Three great grandchildren, Roger Nava IV, Ryleigh Nava, and Brandon lee Matheson.  Step son, Pierre Walker and wife Nilda of McKinney, TX.; Son and daughter, Roger Nava, Jr. and Kathi Nava of Weatherford, TX. Lifelong friends, Sharron Gamble of Burleson, TX. and Karen Downing of Blair, OK.
