It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glen Richard Kinnibrugh, "Rick" a loving husband, father, "Dede" and friend, who left us Friday, September 6, 2024. He was a family man, known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering support.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Louise Kinnibrugh, daughter Misty Rea, husband Brent and grandson Austin, of Allen, Texas and son Richard Brent Kinnibrugh, wife Kellie and granddaughter Kennedy of Hebron, Ohio.

He retired in August of 2003 from the Department of Motor Vehicles in Carrollton, Texas after 30 years of service.

Rick had a passion for classic cars and loved spending weekends at car shows, sharing stories and laughter with fellow enthusiasts. His joy was evident in every conversation, and he cherished the community built around this shared love.

One of Rick's most memorable moments was the 4th of July car show he and Austin entered in McKinney, Texas. 2012.  It was quite an elaborate display. He worked several weeks creating a Sonic Drive-in for Austin's 57 Chevy pedal car.  Winning a 1st place trophy was nothing new for him, but for Austin it was his first. Rick cherished this day and often talked about it. A memory of his passion and love that will last forever.

As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember the many summers spent enjoying the last blast of the season in Vernon, surrounded by family and friends.  His spirit will live on in the memories we hold so dear.

He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts..

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Oct 19, 2024 at Eastview Memorial Park at 3 pm.

There will be an opportunity for anyone to speak or tell a story about Rick during the graveside services.
