Glenn Weldon Kitchens, 64 of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating.

Glenn was the fifth of six children born to Barton Weldon Kitchens and Dorothy Marie Hendry Kitchens. He was born on July 13, 1959 in Midland, Texas.

Glenn was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy, his father Barton, his sister Brenda Darlene Mondey, and his nephew Rodney Mondey.  Glenn is survived by his siblings:  Sylvia Jean (Jeannie) Alverado, Dorothy (Dottie) Mae Ramos, Monty Keith Kitchens and wife, Donna, Bruce Lynn Kitchens, and nieces and nephews:  Rene Stovall, Shonda Croxton, Robert Taylor, Terri Kaufman, Jody Croxton, Tami Simmons, Aaron Kitchens, James Michael Stevens, Joseph Kitchens.

In Glenn's younger years he lived in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and South Dakota.  The Kitchens family moved to Dallas in 1967 and Glenn has been in Dallas ever since.  Glenn worked in a restaurant supply company for a number of years before becoming self-employed and detailing cars at auction.

Glenn lived with his father and Bruce and helped keep an eye on his father as his health deteriorated until he passed. Glenn loved the Dallas Cowboys and seldom ever missed a game.  He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 20, 2023, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until service begins.
