Harlan Dwayne Screws, 89 of Vernon, Texas died on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside serves will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 at 11:00 am at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Terry Tamplin.

Harlan was born Wednesday, February 3, 1932 in Paducah, Texas, he was the son of the late William  Norman Screws and the late Mary Ann Dilliard  Screws. He was a retired USA Air Force T/Sgt Propeller Specialist Civilian Private Pilot, Glider Pilot, F.A.A. Certified Aircraft and Power Plant Mechanic. He was a lifetime member of Post VFW 4747 of Vernon, Texas.

He is survived by a host of friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

There will be a viewing Saturday and Sunday 1:00 to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
