Hattie Mae Noble Scott, 81 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Irving, Texas.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Michael L Collins and Rev. Willie King officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Hattie was born Friday, July 16, 1943, in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Mack Noble and the late Dessie Sims Noble. She married Ireland Scott, Jr. on July 9, 1960, in Vernon, Texas. She worked briefly for the Vernon Daily Record and the Vernon Pants Factory. She graduated from the nursing program at Vernon Regional Junior College as an LVN. She worked at Woods Nursing Home for many years as a nurse's aide, a medication aide, an assistant in Physical Therapy, and as an LVN. While there she was also a Team Leader and trained and taught a class for the CNA's. She also worked for Texoma Home Health. Hattie retired after working as a part-time LVN for Dr. Jessie Hicks in internal medicine.  She was a very good nurse who really cared for her patients. She was a member of Full Gospel Fellowship Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church and St. James C.M.E. Church.

Hattie is survived by one son, Ireland Scott, III of Vernon, Texas and three daughters, Patricia Ann Scott of Arlington, Texas, Deana Bailey of Vernon, Texas and Velma Phillips of Fort Worth, Texas. Hattie also leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Hattie is preceded in death by her husband, Ireland Scott, Jr. on January 16, 2016, and her brother, William Noble.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
