H. R. Bob Alberry, 88 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday September 18, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Inman officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Bob was born Wednesday, June 5, 1935 in Watertown, New York to the late Richard Benjamin Alberry and the late Cora Belle Wright Alberry. Bob married Alice Joyce Mueller; she passed away in 1987. Bob later married Shirley Ann Seale Carpenter and she passed away in 2012. Bob was a trucker driver for Skyline moving company in Chicago for many years before moving to Vernon, where he was the owner of the Rocking A Campground. Bob and his family were members of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Bob is survived by two sons, David Alberry and wife Catherine of Chillicothe, TX. and Jerome Alberry and wife Sharolet of Joshua, TX., daughter in law Belinda Alberry of Vernon, TX. His stepchildren Denise Carpenter Finley and husband Ben, of Wichita Falls, TX. and Jimmy Carpenter and wife Beth of Wichita Falls, TX. Bob also leaves behind his grandchildren, Candi Kulp, Alan Alberry, Erlene Richter, Stephanie Radke, Robert Alberry, Chris Alberry, and Dallas Alberry along with numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his sons Richard Alberry and Royal Alberry and one grandson Scott Alberry.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 6-7pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
