Hester Lee Reynolds, 103 of Vernon, Texas died on Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at Oswalt Cemetery in Hardeman County under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Hester was born Tuesday, August 13, 1918 in Vernon, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Moses Petty Barnfield  and the late Endy Anna  Bates Barnfield. She married Hillard Reynolds on December 25, 1937 in Vernon, he preceded her in death May 11, 1997. She had lived in Vernon since  1997. She was a long-time member of Chillicothe Church of Christ and later Wilbarger St. Church of Christ. She enjoyed her hobby as a seamstress for over 60 years and she had a produce route, she retired in 1981. She was a homemaker.

Hester is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gayle Davis of Fort Worth, TX. two grandchildren Tracia Leigh Davis and Joe Todd Davis, one great granddaughter Aubree Gayle Campos and one great-great granddaughter Marissa Joelee Kopell.

She is preceded in death by a grandson Terry Joe Davis February 6, 1963 and four brothers and two sisters.
