Homer Lee Edmonds, 93 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28, 2025, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Homer was born Sunday, May 29, 1932, in Denton County, Texas. He was the son of the late Edgar Edmonds and Cora Joplin Edmonds. He married Betty Lou New on September 10, 1950, in Vernon, Texas. Homer was the owner and operator of Homer Edmonds Roofing Company which was established in 1950. He loved his antique cars and spending time working on them. He enjoyed going hunting and fishing, but he especially loved his family. He was a member of East to West Baptist Church.

Homer is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Edmonds of the home, three sons, Roger Edmonds, Bobby Edmonds and Larry Edmonds all of Vernon, Texas, two daughters, Cindy Scott of Garland, Texas and Lee Ann Crosswhite of Vernon, Texas, and one sister, Dorothy Prock of Fritch, Texas. Homer also leaves behind sixteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and sixteen great-great grandchildren.

Homer is preceded in death by seven brothers, six sisters, one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, one son-in-law, James Crosswhite, and three daughters-in-law, Susan Edmonds, Brandi Edmonds, and Lee Ann Edmonds.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
