Obituary

Imogene "Imy" Hennessee LaBeth, 72 of Aubrey, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 7th in Dallas, Texas.

Imy was born on April 30, 1951, in Keifer, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Virginia (Tunnell) and Glen Hennessee. The family moved to Vernon when she was very young, and the town became her home.  She married Keith LaBeth on July 18, 1970, in Vernon.

After graduating nursing school in 1974 Imy was proud to work as a LVN for many years.  She enjoyed spending her time with her extended family out at the lake, on a cruise, or watching her grandchildren's activities. She was a regular fixture in the concession stand at Lion Stadium, as a chaperone on a band trip, preparing football meals, painting paw prints or yard signs during the years her children attended Vernon High School.

Imy is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Keith of Aubrey; son, Allen and Nicole LaBeth of Boyne City, Michigan and grandchildren Schylar, Alizabeth, Morgan, Cassidy, and Braden; daughter, Stacy and Chadd Springer of Aubrey and grandchildren Meghan and Jacob; brother, Lloyd Hennessee of Killeen; and sister, Clara and Donald Hall of Vernon. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Jimmy, Tom, Alec, Claude, and Joe Hennessee; sisters Sue Boatenhamer, and Mary Taylor; and grandson Trevin Patrick LaBeth.
