Jacqueline Hall Rettig was born July 20th of 1937 on a farm in Wingate Tx. and passed away in Stephenville Tx. on August 5th of 2021. She was preceded in passing by her husband Marion Lewis Rettig and is now buried with him in Crowell Tx. where Lewis grew up and I spent the summer plowing wheat fields for him and my aunt Jackie. I am Michael Shockey and the last living relative of Jacqueline whose mother (my grandmother) was Ruby Malone Hall who made the best peach cobbler in the world and whose father was James Collis Hall and gave me first drink at Christmas as a child. I will miss their kind hearts and giving souls all the rest of my days.
