Jane (Juana) Martinez Tobar, 92, of Vernon Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of Wednesday, December 21 ^st , 2022.

A rosary will be held at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, December 28 ^th at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday December 29 ^th , at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Eastview Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her Husband, Pass Tobar Sr. in their family grave site.

Jane Martinez Tobar was born on February 8 ^th , 1930. She married Pass Reyes Tobar Sr, on March 11 ^th , 1948, in Vernon. A resident of Vernon since 1937, Jane attended Holy Family Catholic Church where she was an active member of the altar society. Jane worked many years at the Vernon State Hospital, where she retired.

Jane is survived by her son and two daughters. They are Pass Tobar Jr. of Fort Worth Texas, Mary Ann Tobar Alvarado, of Fort Worth Texas, and Cynthia Tobar McCoy, of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jane is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
