Jared William Reed passed November 22,2022. Jared was born on March 26, 2002 to the late Bryan and Mandy Reed. He is survived by his older brother, Jacob Reed.

To the outside eye, Jared's life was a struggle. He was disabled, and could not partake in the many joys of life that ordinary people take for granted. But those that knew Jared knew only of his joy. He loved all sports, especially football. Jared enjoyed cartoons, especially the inappropriateness of South Park in his later years, and was the funniest and sarcastic person you'd ever meet. Most of all, Jared enjoyed spending time with his "2nd best friend," his goldendoodle Jagger. He was always adamant that his number 1 best friend,however, was his daddy. Jared was a pure soul, and radiated happiness in the biggest of smiles no matter the circumstances that he found himself in.

To the misunderstanding, Jared Reed's life could be seen as a tragedy. This could not be further from the truth. Jared was nothing but loved and given a good life by his parents, and is now together with them for eternity.

A private family memorial will be held on Mustang Island at a later date. Memorials can be made to the Humane Society.
