Jerry Wayne Knippa, 70 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 am at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Jerry was born Friday, November 12, 1954, in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Edgar Knippa and the late Betty Sones Knippa. He was a 1973 graduate of Vernon High School. He was a Pharmacy Tech for the North Texas State Hospital, and he also worked at Hillcrest Pharmacy. He loved to laugh and joke around. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Jerry is survived by one sister, Daisy Pearson & husband George of Fort Worth, Texas and one brother, Robert Knippa of Seymour, Texas. Jerry also leaves behind two nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar & Betty Knippa and his brother, John Knippa.

Jerry's family is grateful for the friendship and love shown by the North Texas State Hospital and Hillcrest Pharmacy Families.

Memorials can be given to a favorite local charity.

Visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2025, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 10:00 am until graveside services begin.
