Joe Raymond Adams, 87 of Frederick, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, in Frederick, Oklahoma.

A private family service will be scheduled at a later date.

Raymond was born Tuesday, January 19, 1937, in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Joe Adams and the late Coleta Mae Cline Adams. He married Sarah Brandon on August 22, 1958, in Vernon, Texas. Raymond owned and operated Adams Appliance Service for over twenty years. He was also a farmer and could accomplish anything he set his mind to.  He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He loved to hunt and fish. Raymond was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Raymond is survived by one son, Joe Waymon Adams of Vernon, Texas; two daughters, Ann Owens & husband Damon of Frederick, Oklahoma and Betha Rutledge & husband Curt of Vernon, Texas, and one brother, Jimmy Adams of Vernon, Texas. Raymond also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Michael Goins, Joe Daniel Adams, Kye Johnson, Kale Adams, Curt Lee Rutledge, Nicholas Rutledge, and Hannah Rutledge, and sixteen great grandchildren.

Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Adams on March 16, 2024; two grandsons, Russell Rutledge and Keith Goins; three sisters, Betty Sue, Wanda Jane, and Delores, and his daughter-in-law, Robin.
