Joe Dean Dennis, Jr., 57 of Wichita Falls, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norris Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Joe was born Tuesday, September 3, 1968, in Vernon, Texas. He was the son of the late Joe "J.D." Dennis, Sr. and the late Ernestine Council Dennis. He married Doris Owens on January 2, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a truck driver working for Pitts Mixing Company, but prior to that he drove for the cities of Burkburnett and Wichita Falls. Joe loved traveling, especially going to Las Vegas.  He also loved spending time with his family.  He really loved his dog "Boss" who unfortunately loss 10 months ago.  Joe liked watching Westerns and Comedies. He was a member of the Electra Church of Christ.

Joe is survived by his wife, Doris Owens Dennis of the home, his daughter, Shalannie Owens-White of Portland, Oregon, and his grandson, Jahydi White & wife Savannah of Portland, Oregon. Joe also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Leonidas and Ezio and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2026, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Wichita Falls Inpatient Center.
