Joe C. Guerra, Jr. 67 of Vernon, Texas died on Monday, September 13, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home Officiating will be Father Phill Petta.

Joe was born Thursday, February 4, 1954 in Stamford, Texas, he was the son of the late Joe Guerra and the late Alicia Chavarria  Guerra. He had been a resident of Vernon since 1954, he worked at the Power Plant at Oklaunion for several year before he retired. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Joe is survived by his sons, Richard Guerra of Vernon, TX and Benjamin Guerra of Snyder, TX, daughters, Joann Combs of McKinney, TX, Geneva Guerra of Wichita Falls, TX and Priseilla Guerra of Vernon, TX, and Sammie Farrell of Vernon, TX; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 pm and a Rosary will follow Wednesday September 15, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.
