Joe Perry Williams, 73 of Chillicothe, Texas died on Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.

Funeral service will be Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Norris Thomas, Rev. Early Williams. Interment will be held at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home

Joe was born Sunday, November 7, 1948 in Negreet, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Joe H. Williams and the late Jennie B. Thompson  Williams. Joe married Rosa Hawkins on November 8, 1991 in Memphis, TN. He was a former truck driver.

Joe is survived by his wife Rosa Williams of the home. His daughters, Maraina Williams of Wichita Falls, TX, Victoria Williams of Memphis, TN and Tonya Hilburn of Dallas, TX. Five step-children, Martha Shepard of NC., Demetria Thornton of NC., Syneka Thornton of Arlington, TX., Samuel Thornton of Chillicothe, Tx, and Stephanie Kadlee of CA. Three sister and one brother Larry Williams.  Eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by a step-daughter Anita Hawkins, parents and two brothers Norman Williams, and Charles Williams.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
