John Encinia age 56 of Vernon, Texas joined our Lord in heaven on Monday, December 20, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

John was born November 2, 1965. His mother was the late Mickey Encinia. He grew up in Chillicothe and he was a graduate of Chillicothe High School in 1984. He married Julie Pigg om July 12, 2008, in Vernon, Texas.  John was a Christian who blessed so many! He was a devoted caretaker of family members and a faithful friend. He never met a stranger and was known as "Big John" He enjoyed road trips, sports (especially the Cowboys), being with family and friends, and praying for others were his biggest joys.

John is survived by his wife Julie Encinia, his in laws, Jack and Jonna Pigg, brother-in-law Todd Pigg, his aunt Lily and many cousins and other family members he cherished.

The family has chosen cremation with a private family interment soon.
