Johnny Glen Boyd, 71 of Vernon, Texas died on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in Vernon, Texas.

Johnny was born Tuesday, December 19, 1950 in Shamrock, Texas, he was the son of the late B.J. Boyd and the late Lennie Boyd. He married  Sandra Sitz on May 28, 1972 in Huntsville, TX. He had lived in Vernon all of his life. He was a retired truck driver. He loved his children, grandchildren and he enjoyed camping, BBQ and working in his yard. he was a Baptist.

Johnny is survived by his wife Sandra Boyd of the home. One son, Chris Boyd and wife Evelyn of Warrensburg, MO, daughter, Paula Bosma and husband Leonard of Galveston, TX. His grandchildren Ashley Ramirez (Israel), Lisa Taylor (Nicholas), Dakota Nava (Linsey), Curtis Boyd (Baylie) and Trevor Boyd. Great grandchildren Samara Taylor, Abel Taylor, McKaylynn Nava, Teagan Boyd and Tiana Boyd.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Tammy Boyd.
