Joy Ann Johnson, 92 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 26, 2024 at 10:00am at the First Methodist Church with Mr. Randy Echols officiating . Burial will follow at the Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Joy Ann was born Tuesday, August 18, 1931 in Vernon, Texas. Joy was the daughter of the late Earle Servatius and the late Ethel Viola Owen Servatius. Joy was a waitress for over thirty years at the Village Inn. Joy was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign War; she was also a member of the Vernon Riding Club.  She was a member of First Methodist Church.

Joy is survived  by three daughters, Betty Bennett  and husband Steve of Littleton, CO Patricia Kidd & husband Kim of Emory, TX and Brenda Echols & husband Jimmy of Vernon, TX; Two sons Michael McPeak of Spring, TX and Robert Johnson & wife Stella of Odell, TX. Joy Ann's seventeen grandchildren, Casey Bennett, Chris Bennett, Michael Jay McPeak, Melanie Schambach, Scott Brandt, Stephanie Rodriguez, Ashley Hawkins, Kristy Monroe, Ignacio Kidd, Jeff Kidd, Carey Rabel, Cody Echols, Rosemary Echols, Stacy Echols (preceded), Teri Thomas, Jason Martinez and Rufus Martinez, along with twenty-nine great  grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren.

Joy is preceded in death by one brother, Donald Servatius, two sisters, Alice Echols and Viola Frances Servatius.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
