Mary Joyce Inglish, 87 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Tamplin officiating.  Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Neuberger officiating.

Joyce was born Thursday, September 12, 1935, in Hardeman County, Texas. She was the daughter of the late John Monroe Norton and the late Minnie Mae Byers Inglish. She married Riley Bailey "R.B." Inglish on October 16, 1953, in Vernon Texas. R.B. preceded her in death on August 3, 2019. Joyce was a member of Faith United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She worked for the Waggoner National Bank for twenty-eight years, and for Farm Bureau for eighteen years.

Joyce is survived by sons, Rick Inglish & wife Lupe of Vernon, Texas, Greg Inglish & wife Cindy of Vernon, Texas, and Scott Inglish of Vernon, Texas: grandchildren, Balie White & husband Bob of Princeton, Texas, Rog Rodriquez & wife Jennifer of Vernon, Texas, Miguel Rodriquez & wife Randi of Vernon, Texas, Morgan Martinez & husband Jody of LaMarque, Texas, and Holli Brints & husband Tyler of Vernon, Texas; fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded in death by her brother, John Hover "J.H." "Bud" Norton; sisters, Catherine Petty and Francis Huffman; granddaughters, Odessa Mae in 1994, and Amy Lynn Garcia in 2013.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
