Judy Treece Judd House, 82, went to heaven on January 15, 2023.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Inman officiating.

Judy was born on December 8, 1940 in Vernon to E.H. "Bud" and Morris John Judd.  Judy was raised in Vernon and graduated from Vernon High School in 1959.  Judy visited the campus of Texas Christian University and there found the warmth and friendliness that reminded her of hometown neighborhood of Castleberry Park.  Judy graduated from TCU in 1963.

On a blind date her freshman year, she met her future husband, John Howell House.  Judy and John were married at the First United Methodist Church in Vernon on August 26, 1961.  Judy and John were married for 27 years. They had two children, John Howell (Jay) House, Jr. and Julie Treece House Jones.

After raising her children, Judy worked at the TCU Health Center from 1985 to 2006.  She was an ardent supporter of all things TCU.  For well over half a century, she attended TCU football games and bowl games.

In addition to her two children, Judy had four grandchildren; Jacob Michael Jones of Fort Worth, TX, Lauren Nicole Jones of Dallas, TX, Karris Alexandra House of Norman, OK, and Kaelen Elida House of Fort Worth, TX.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, brother - Dr. E. H. ("Buddy") Judd, Jr., husband, daughter and son-in-law Michael Brent Jones.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Sullivan Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until service begins.
