In Loving Memory of Judy Jolly Recendiz

August 3, 1955 – October 24, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Recendiz, a beloved 68-year-old female who touched the lives of many. She peacefully departed this world on October 24, 2023 leaving a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories.

Born on August 3, 1955, Judy was a remarkable individual who lived a life dedicated to making a difference. She was born in Vernon, Texas and grew up in Vernon where she cultivated lasting friendships. Judy's unwavering compassion and gentle spirit made her a beacon of light to those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Judy was a loving parent to Johnny, Autumn, Manuela, Jane, Julianna and Jessica providing them with unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement as they pursued their dreams.

Judy had a zest for life that extended beyond familial endeavors. She possessed a wide range of interests and hobbies, including watching classic movies, collecting photos, baking, Facebooking and she loved going for walks until she couldn't anymore which brought joy and fulfillment to her days. She loved her dog more than she loved her humans and made it known. Her infectious laughter , warm smile and ability to find beauty in the simplest moments endeared her to all who had the pleasure of being in her presents. Her selflessness and generosity continue to inspire us all to make a difference in the world around us.

Judy's memory will be forever cherished by her beloved Cindy, Harm, Lucilla grandchildren, many relatives and dear friends. She leaves behind a profound void that can never be filled, but we find solace in the memories we shared and immeasurable love she bestowed upon us.

As we mourn the loss of Judy, let us also celebrate her remarkable life and the profound impact she has on each of us. May her legacy of love, kindness and compassion guide us in our own journeys, serving as a constant reminder of the beautiful soul that graced our lives.

A funeral service to honor and remember Judy will be held on Monday October 30, 2023 at 11:00am at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roman Gamez officiating. Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 6-8pm at Sullivan Funeral Home
