Karen La Jeanne Anderson White, 78, of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas, surrounded by her husband Phillip, daughters Debbie and Delinda and their husbands Jimmy and Mark.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 15, 2023 at 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Karen was born on Thursday, September 14, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of the late George D. Anderson and the late Willie Stevens Anderson. She married the love of her life Phillip White in Vernon, Texas. They would have celebrated 63 years of marriage on May 27th. Karen graduated from beauty school in Wichita Falls, Texas. She worked as a beautician, helping her husband with his farming business, for Phillip White Cotton Company, Vernon Stockyards, Co-owner of Picture Show Video, Napa Auto Parts and Surplus Guys. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Calvary Baptist Church.

Karen is survived by her husband, Phillip White of the home. Two daughters, Debbie Bradford and husband Jimmy of Vernon, Texas and Delinda Duncan and husband Mark of Vernon, Texas. Seven grandchildren, Jennyfer Jasso and husband Alejandro, Joshua White, Ashley Brandt and husband Scott, Dustin Duncan and wife Brittany, Scott Bradford, Brittany White and Phillip Duncan and wife Jennifer. Fifteen great grandchildren, Madison Dardis, Sidney Dardis, Alexis Salas, Nolan Chavez, Isaiah Jasso, Cierra Jasso, Kalin Jasso, Alivia Chavez, Adriana Jasso, Preston Hendrix, Mia Murillo, Liam Brandt, Avianna Salazar, Ryker Duncan and River Duncan. Two great great granddaughters, Mariana Hope Pack and Layliana Grace Jasso. One sister in law Pam Broyles and Husband Joe of Wichita Falls, Texas. Karen also leaves behind her fur babies, Penny Rene and Precious Diane.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dewey White in 1992, her brother Charles Anderson in 2018 and one great great granddaughter, Layla Lee Salazar in 2019.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
