Kastin Mike'l Duwayne Grantham, 21 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 1:00 pm at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bob Diekmann officiating. Burial will follow at Altus Cemetery in Altus, Oklahoma under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Kastin was born Friday August 23, 2002, in Altus, Oklahoma. He was the son of Edwardo Solis and Ezra Grantham Solis. Kastin worked at Braums most recently, and he graduated High School in 2020 from Vernon High School. Kastin had the chance to travel some, while working for a union company, and had his carpentry license. He was planning on starting school in the spring to get an HVAC certification so that he and his friend, Cristo Cruz, could start a company and possibly move to Georgia. He had so many dreams and plans.

Kastin was a big gamer. He loved everything related to superhero, marvel, DC, comic, power rangers, and Anime. He was a collector of all those items, and he was a big kid at heart always. He aspired at one point to be a director in the movies when he was young and always had so many stories and ideas.

He was always so helpful, loved to have fun, joked around a lot, and liked to be goofy. He was very protective of his momma and his little sisters, Kadence and Koral. He was a big ol bear, he loved his family so much.

Kastin was always so respectful to everyone. He never asked for anything and always was there for his friends and family. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Kastin is survived by his parents, Edward & Ezra Solis; two siblings, Kadence Grace and Koral Grace; three step siblings, Miranda Maldonado, Stormie Solis, and Edwardo Solis, Jr., and his aunts and uncles, Robert Smith, Natasha Smith, Justin McDonald, and Jason & Celeste Gorman. Kastin also leaves behind his grandparents, Troy Mounce, Otoniel Solis, and Paula Edwards.

Kastin is preceded in death by two grandmothers, Zeniada Solis and Barbara Grantham.

Visitation will be Monday, February 26, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
