Kent McCardeIl, 56 of Warr Acres, Ok. Died Monday September 27, 2021 in Warr Acres, OK.

Kent was born February 22, 1965 in Cordell Ok. He was the son of Evelyn McCardeII and late Wilfred (Pete) McCardell. He married Nancy Cotter Wellington November 8, 2013.

Kent had worked at Vernon State Hospital for many years. He graduated from Vernon High School in 1983, and according to his facebook page (which he loved to chat with friends) he studied beer and cards at Vernon College. Kent enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to car shows, his favorite was Vernon's Summers Last Blast. Kent and Nancy would take short trips enjoying the different sites together. He had just started a new hobby of carving characters out of wood.

Kent is survived by his wife of the home, his mother Evelyn McCardeIl, son David McCardell (Candace), a sister Beverly Cannedy, and a brother John McCardell (Jennifer) all of Vernon.  Stepsons Keilan Wellington and Aaron Wellington of Warr Acres, Ok. Stepson Bo Gilbert of Katy TX. And Stepdaughter Ashley Shoen of Decatur, TX.

Kent was proceeding in death by his Father Wilfred (Pete) McCardell, a daughter Heather Marie McCardeil, Brother Greg McCardell. A memorial will be at a later date.
