Kian Mikel Garcia, 19 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 10:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Toby Castleberry and Pastor Alonzo Garcia officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Kian was born on Friday February 27, 2004 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was the son of Israel Garcia and Kenzie Lozano. Kian graduated Vernon High School in 2023 where he played football and was a member of the Vernon wrestling team. Kian made it to the UIL State Wrestling Championship his junior year where he placed 8th. Kian was currently working at Tyson Foods.

Kian was living his best life. He loved sports, music, playing games, and mostly he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Kian loved to have fun and he wasn't shy about playing practical jokes on his loved ones. Kian was very protective of his family especially his sisters. Kian loved watching his brothers play sports. He was always giving them free coaching advise.

Kian was always a friend to everyone he met. His smile would light up a room when he walked in. Kian was always willing to help out anyone in need, and he was always the first to help his family. Kian was loved by everyone who met him, and you couldn't ask for a more loyal son, grandson, brother, or friend. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Kian is survived by his beloved girlfriend Dayshaneah Lewis of the home, his dad Israel Garcia and wife Ana Deana, his mom Kenzie Lozano, his paternal grandparents Santos Garcia and wife Connie, maternal grandparents Steven and Robyn Lozano all of Vernon, maternal great grandfather Floyd Whitley of Crowell and Zenon Lozano, maternal great grandmother Patsy Ward, brothers Isaiah Garcia, Simon Rodriguez, Rudy Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Paul Rodriguez and Adrian Cruz Garcia, sisters Kira Lozano, Isabella Garcia, Anjelica Kika Garcia  and Valerie Rodriguez all of Vernon, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kian was proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother Janie Garcia, maternal great grandmother Dovie Lozano, his aunt Elane Garcia, and a cousin Andi Wagner.
