Kristie Lee McCarty, 53 of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, 2024, at 10:00 am at Western Trail Cowboy Church with Rev. Luke Morrison officiating.  Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Kristie was born Tuesday, December 29, 1970, in Richland Hills, Texas. She was the daughter of Gamble McCarty and Patsy Quisenberry McCarty. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1993. She participated in Special Olympics. She loved the whirlpool, football, and enjoyed watching Hee-Haw and the Price Is Right.

Kristie is survived by her parents, Gamble & Patsy McCarty of Vernon, Texas; one sister, Sharon Goins & husband Billy of Vernon, Texas, and one nephew, Brantley McCarty of Vernon, Texas. Kristie also leaves behind her aunts and uncles, Travis & Brenda McKinley of Paradise, Texas, Debra & Bob Dryzgula of Springtown, Texas, Chris Quisenberry of Vernon, Texas, and Brenda McCarty of Vernon, Texas, along with numerous cousins.

Kristie is preceded in death by her grandparents, L.C. "Buddy" & Ruby Quisenberry, Travis & Barbara McKinley, Morris & Beatrice McCarty; two uncles, David Quisenberry and Dallas McCarty, and two cousins, Kami Patlan and Joshua Holcomb.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
