Linda Faye Baird, 76 of Vernon, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Memorial services will be held Friday, October 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Milner officiating.

Linda was born Saturday, September 18, 1948, in Coleman, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Walter L. Brown and the late Hetty Faye Eldred Brown. She was a manager of an auto parts store in Las Vegas, Nevada. She also worked in casinos in Las Vegas. She then managed a 7/11 in Coleman, Texas.

Linda is survived by one son, Jonathan Baird of Vernon, Texas; one daughter, Sheri Baird of Vernon, Texas; two brothers, Jimmy Brown & wife Becky of Abilene, Texas and Morris Brown & wife Sherry of North Carolina, and one sister, Gloria Loyd & husband Glen of Goulbusk, Texas. Linda also leaves behind seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by two brothers, Walter David Brown and Billy Don Brown.
