Lisa Lynn Wellman, 64 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Toby Castleberry officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Lisa was born Monday, August 22, 1960, in Vernon, Texas to the late Don Kent Lane and to the late Martha Baldwin Lane. Lisa was a Vernon High School graduate of the Class of 1978. She had worked at Waggoner National Bank as a teller and then the Waggoner Estate Building in the lease agreement department. Later in life Lisa began working in the medical education department at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas and then transferred over to Blue Cross Blue Shield, working with several doctors, before she retired.

Lisa was full of love and forgiveness. She loved to garden and go fishing and her cow Medea. Lisa also loved to play Farkel and Yatzee, along with playing Bingo with her grandchildren. Lisa was a selfless servant and strong Christian. Lisa was best known as Mom, Nana, Yaya and sister. Lisa was a foster mom to numerous children throughout her life.

Lisa is survived by her children Heather Brown Dillard and husband Danny, Jody Brown, Matthew Wellman, Joshua Wellman and Katie Wellman. One sister Taran K. Lane and spouse Jacque. Three grandchildren Westin Dillard, Brayden Dillard and Teressa Brown. One nephew Nathan Lane. Her fiancé Jeff Haynes, and his daughter Jessica Solace and granddaughter Callie Solace. Lisa also leaves behind many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 5, 2025, from 1pm until service time at Sullivan Funeral Home.
