Lucinda Christine Knight, 61 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, Denton Texas.

A visitation will be held Wednesday May 17, 2023 from 6:00-8:00pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.

Lucinda was born Friday, February 23, 1962 in Vernon, Texas, to the late James Baldwin and the late Flora Shipman Baldwin. Lucinda married George Knight, Jr. on December 9, 1978 in Vernon, Texas. Lucinda retired from the North Texas State Hospital after working as an inventory clerk for more than twenty-two years. Lucinda had five children of her own, but had always opened her home and heart to help countless children through out the years. Lucinda always enjoyed traveling and site seeing when she could, and she loved to follow her grandchildren and great children at their many events. She also loved to stop at the local blessing boxes around town and fill them up for those in need. Lucinda and her family were members of the TCE Church.

Lucinda is survived by her husband George Knight, Jr. ,three sons Eldon Knight, Stormy Knight and wife Deeanne and Derek Knight and wife Alex. Two daughters Serena Stolle and husband Paul, and Danielle Mullen and husband Greg. Lucinda also leaves behind two brothers Henry Baldwin and Johnny Baldwin and one sister Opal Freeman and husband Booth, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.
