Luis Arroyo, Jr of Amarillo, Texas passed away on September 5th, 2021. Due to COVID restrictions, the family held off his service until his birthday in 2022.

Luis was born on May 6th to Luis & Norma Arroyo in Grand Forks, North Dakota and later the family moved to Vernon, Texas.  He was the third of four children.  He grew up in Vernon & attended Vernon High School while participating in sports.  He enjoyed boxing through the Boys & girls club in his younger days. After graduation he joined the National Guard for a time until his enlistment ended. He also lived at different areas of Texas before settling in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Luis is survived by his mother, Norma Arroyo, sisters Diana (Ray) Bordayo, Yolanda (Bryan) Barker of Idaho Falls, Idaho & brother Santos (Annice) Arroyo of St. George, Utah. He also leaves behind four children Michael Arroyo, Melanie Arroyo, Zachariah Arroyo and Sarah Arroyo.

He is preceded in death by his father Luis Arroyo.
