Lujuanna Willene Daigle, 82 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, in Vernon, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday June 5, 2026, at Wilbarger Memorial Park located at Hwy 70 South Vernon, Texas, with Rev. Anthony Inman officiating under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be at Hillcrest Country Club on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM.  

Lujuanna was born Thursday, November 18, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Jack Scharff and the late Wanda Scharff. Lujuanna married George Daigle on January 6, 1994, in Vernon, Texas. Over the years Lujuanna held several jobs including a secretary at the Wilbarger General Hospital, Vernon Fire Department and John Deere. Lujuanna also owned and operated a dress shop in Vernon. Lujuanna enjoyed traveling and making memorable moments, by taking cruises. Lujuanna found peace and happiness in painting, reading and spending time at the lake. Her friendships were a treasured part of her life, and she cherished the time spent with those she loved. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she was a devoted member of the First Methodist Church of Vernon, Texas. 

Lujuanna is survived by her husband George Daigle, her son, Brian Fritze & wife Kris of Vernon, TX, along with her daughter, Alison Pond of Wichita Falls, TX. Lujuanna also leaves behind her grandchildren, Tyler Fritze, Kyle Fritze and wife Lacie, Jordon Cox and Matthew Niell, and one great grandson Kree Fritze, and her cousin Debbie Jackson Smith of Dallas, Texas. Lujuanna is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Wanda Scharff and her brother, Larry Scharff.
