Mae Carol Patnode, 66 of Iowa Park, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 am at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home with Mr. Chris Swinford officiating. 

Mae was born Monday, August 15, 1960, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Ward Kuehn and the late Sue Carol Jones Kuehn. She married Bryan Patnode in March of 2007. She worked as a home health worker. She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting. Mae loved working in her garden. She was a member of the Iowa Park Rotary Club and the Iowa Park Church of Christ. 

Mae is survived by her son, Matthew Hawkins of Quanah, Texas, her sister, Mitsi Traylor & husband Guy of Iowa Park, Texas, and her brother, Eddie Kuehn & wife Rebecca of White Deer, Texas. Mae also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Caylie Traylor, Christopher Traylor, Zane Kuehn and Jessica Kuehn.

Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Patnode on August 28, 2022.

Visitation will be Monday, August 31, 2026, at Sullivan Funeral Home from 9:00 am until graveside services begin.
