Marcella Lou Bell, 79 of Denver City, TX left the earth to reside with her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 29, 2022.

Marcella was born April 12, 1943, in Vernon, TX. She was the daughter of Floyd Graf and Eddie Lou Krebs Graf. She married Kenneth Bell on October 8,1961 in Vernon, TX.

Marcella was a woman of faith!  She exemplified her faith through her love of her family and friends.  Marcella poured her love into her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She spent countless hours accompanying them to every activity they were involved in whether it be hours at a woodcarving event, trips to Hobbs, NM for catechism classes, visits to a steer/pig barn, cheering from the stands at a football/baseball/basketball game, trying to learn the complexities of a golf round, or following that Goin' Band from Raiderland. Additionally, Marcella often became a "second mom" to the boys' friends as she welcomed them into her home, served after school/pre-game snacks, and provided warm beds for the weekend sleepovers. Perhaps her hours at sporting events molded her into the Denver City Mustang and Texas Tech Red Raider fan that she was. Marcella could often be found with knitting needles in hand knitting baby caps for newborns or prayer shawls for family members, friends, or hospital patients that she might not ever meet.  Marcella's participation in the community included being a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, volunteering at church activities, and serving as a member of the Yoakum County Hospital Pink Ladies, and Meals on Wheels.  Marcella's work life included bookkeeper for the local lumber yard and court secretary for DA Office, two Justice of the Peace offices and County Office.

Marcella is survived by her husband Kenneth Bell; their two sons, Ken Bell and wife Stacey of Arlington, TX and Brad Bell and wife Bridget of Gunter, TX; sister, Dianna Graf Wilson and husband Steve of Georgetown, TX; grandchildren Brandon, Kelly, Benjamin, Gunnar, Blake, and Brooks; nephew Tyler Wilson; and nieces Gayla Raines DeHoyos, Kristi Raines Fawcett, and Abby Raines.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Tony Raines.

Services will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Kyle Streun of Denver City, TX. Interment will be held at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday at 1:00 pm till service time at Sullivan Funeral Home.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Denver City, TX.
