Marcia Ann Hokett, age 82, of Brownwood, Texas passed away on June 2, 2026. Marcia was born on January 6, 1944 in Blair Oklahoma.

She lived most of her adult life in Texas. She lived on the 6666 (4 Sixes Ranch, Vernon, Abilene and Wells Point.) The last few years of her life she resided at Pecan Nursing Facility in Brownwood, Texas to be near her daughter, Jeana. Before retiring, Marcia and her husband Ray, ran the Lankford Roofing Company.

Marcia enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, fishing, playing Bingo and reading. Her fur baby Izzie, was such good company for her. Marcia accepted Christ when she was a young girl and was a life long Baptist. She enjoyed attending services and bible studies while residing at the nursing facility.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lankford; her parents, Marcie and Velma (Biddy) Hockett, her sister Jeanne (Hockett) Shelton; and one grandson in law, Johnathan Parr.

Surviving Marcia include: one daughter and son in law, Jeana (Prather) Phillips and Ron, granddaughter, Joann (Wade) Parr: grandson and his wife, Josh & Jennifer Wade, brother and sister in law, Darell & joy Hockett: her brother in law Eric Shelton, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, two nieces Shawna Shelton and Tara (Hockett) Wilks, one nephew Shane Hockett, Freddy Prather, and several great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held on June 18, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Blair Cemetery in Blair Oklahoma.
