Margaret Copeland, 88 of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, 2024, at 11:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Brown officiating.  Burial will follow at Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Margaret was born Thursday, June 20, 1935 in Amarillo, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Milton Boyce and the late Carolina White Boyce. Having grown up in Vernon, Texas all her life, she attended Booker T. Washington early in life. She married J.W. Copeland who later passed away. She became the mother of thirteen children. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She worked most of her life for Wright Brand Foods. Margaret was a member of Wood Street Church of Christ.

Margaret is survived by her children, Mildred Bass, Ivory Boyce, Ray Boyce, Billy Boyce, Napoleon Copeland, George Copeland, J.C. Copeland, Lolita Copeland and Glenda Sue Cummings. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-greatgrandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Scott in 2014; two sons, Douglas Copeland and Roosevelt Copeland, and two daughters, Bobbie Jo Hollaway and Marcela Boyce.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
