Margaret Jo Williams, 90 of Vernon, Texas, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in Vernon, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:00 am at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Paul Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Margaret was born January 22, 1934, in Vernon, Texas to the late Luther Clyde Bagley and the late Nadine Leever Bagley. She was a lifelong resident of Wilbarger County. She retired after thirty-eight years from the Wilbarger County Tax Assessor's Office. Margaret's pride and joy was her family. She especially loved family gatherings for holiday and birthday celebrations. She loved attending plays at Vernon College directed by her youngest son, Jack. She also enjoyed riding horses, and she had a great love for her cats.

Margaret is survived by her four children, Lisa Jo Henry & husband Fred, Randy Newcomer & wife Tammie, Tracy Newcomer & wife Jennifer, and Jack Williams, and  seven grandchildren, Jamie Griffith, Donna Jo Rich & husband Nic, Kellie Williams & husband Jeff, Cory Newcomer & wife Taylor, Camden Newcomer, Rainey Newcomer & boyfriend Quincy, and Aspen Newcomer. Margaret also leaves behind seven great grandchildren, Karson Keith, Jaylee Marie, Claire Madelyn, Mia Gracyn, Maggie Jo, Charlotte Brooke, and Parx Bennett.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde & Nadine Bagley, and her granddaughter, Destiney Paige Newcomer.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
