Maria deLourdes Medina, 69 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 23, 2025, at 10:00am at the Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Phil Petta officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilbarger Memorial Park under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Maria was born Thursday, September 6, 1956, in Acuña Coahuila Mexico, to the late Alfonzo Sifuentes and the late Adelaida Mendoza Sifuentes. Maria had always been there for others, offering her time, love and energy to serve our community for over thirty-five years. She devoted herself to helping the youth, offering guidance and giving her heart to her church family. Maria had been recognized and honored on several occasions for her selfless contributions, but never once did she expect anything in return. Maria and her family are members of the Holy Family Catholic Church.

Maria is survived by one son, Roberto Medina, three daughters, Isabel Garza, Veronica Medina and Pearl Villa. Her grandchildren Mychael, Elijah, Gio, Ean, Mia, Leo, Lia, Nicolas, Jr, and Alexis and one great grandchild, Jace Medina. Maria also leaves behind two brothers Michael Sifuentes and Guadalupe Sifuentes, and one sister Rebecca Negrete

Maria is proceeded in death by her daughter Cristal Medina and her great niece Vanessa Tyra.

Rosary will be held at 6:30p.m. on Monday with visitation following at 7:00pm at the Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.
