Maria Del Rosario Escobedo Rivas, 66 of Vernon, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in El Paso, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 10:00 am at Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church with Father Phil Petta officiating.

Maria was born Thursday, August 8, 1957, in Santa Maria de los Angeles, Jalisco, Mexico. She was the daughter of the late Felipe Escobedo Herrera and the late Virginia Rivas Escobedo . She married Baltazar Porras Delgado in 1975 in Juares, Mexico. She was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church.

Maria is survived by two daughters, Karen Porras Antimo & husband Jose Antimo of Vernon, Texas and Nuvia Abril Porras Escobedo & husband Emmanuel Martinez of El Paso, Texas, and six grandchildren, Dayan Fernandez Porras, Maia Martinez Porras, Farid Antimo Porras, Yered Antimo Porras, Iker Antimo Porras, and Jezael Antimo Porras.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband Baltazar Porras Delgado, and her son, Jose Morua.

Rosary will be Monday, July 29, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.
