Mario Guerra, Sr., 56 of Chillicothe, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Chillicothe, Texas.

A visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel.

Mario was born Sunday, March 17, 1968, in Laredo, Texas. He was the son of the late Benito Guerra, Sr. and Delia Delgado Garcia. He married Anne Garcia in 1989. Mario worked in farming. He was a very hard worker, and he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mario is survived by his wife, Anne Garcia of the home; his mother, Delia Garcia of Laredo, Texas; two sons, Guadalupe Garcia and Mario Guerra, Jr. both of Chillicothe, Texas; two daughters, Marisol Guerra and Vanessa Guerra both of Chillicothe, Texas; two brother, Benito Guerra, Jr. of Encinal, Texas and Joel Garcia, Jr., and seven sisters, Claudia Guerra of Alice, Texas, Nora Guerra of Falfurrias, Texas, Laura Guerra-Salinas of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mary Guerra of Driscoll, Texas, Joann Garcia, Judy Ann Garcia, and Juanita Perez. Mario also leaves behind four grandchildren.

Mario is preceded in death by his brother, Uvaldo Guerra.
